Allow Groups to be tracked on Associate Records

Associate Contacts, whether additional individuals or other company locations, need the ability to search, sort and report based on demographic details and information specific to them. For example, if I sell sports-related equipment I would want to track the teams each associate roots for, not just the main contact.

It would be great if the groups could have an associate linked to it so that you can see all groups on the main contact record, and only those groups linked to the associate on the associate record (similar to projects, activities, documents). That way you know all related sports teams in this example from the main contact record and can narrow it down as needed by looking on the associate record.
